Hello there, my name is Ben Cohen.
I was first introduced to programming when I took an online class in Python. I was hooked and spent the entire semester coagulating all I learned into a text-based adventure game. By the end of class, much the dismay of my teacher, I had an over three thousand line game to turn in for my final rather than the recommended rock-paper-scissors game.
Going forward, I earned my Bachelor's of Arts in Digital Arts and Science with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Florida. After working for a year as an academic assistant and software engineer for game design classes at the University of Florida, I went onward to earn my Master's of Science in Interactive Entertainment at the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy at the University of Central Florida.
Now, I am well versed in C# and C/C++ and have worked in both Unity and Unreal Engine. My main focus is on gameplay programming with a fascination for game AI.
